Now, if you want to talk confusing, this has to be right up on the top of the list. I will try to explain it as simply as possible.
Grahf will first appear to be your normal, run of the mill, rpg villain/aggressor. But, you soon find it's way more than you expect.
In essence, Fei is Grahf. During the time of Sophia, Lacan existed and was in love with Sophia. Lacan is forced to watch helplessly as Sophia dies.
Afterwards, Lacan remembers Sophia's last words to him, "Lacan Live!". He vows that her will "live" until the end of the world, and if it world didn't end, he would
end it himself. He becomes obsessed with finding "the power", which is the Zohar Modifier. Because Lacan is the contact, he is the one who possess the correct destiny in order
to locate Zohar. He succeeds years later but merging with it caused him to become and imperfect existence. He will cause the Diablos War a wreak havoc on the world until the Omnigears
were brought out to combat it. I would guess that as his body aged, Grahf was forced to live on through transmigration. (he can do it too since he is the contact)
Grahf will learn of Fei, the exact reincarnation of Lacan's body, and will attempt in taking the boy. Fei's father, Kahn, will resist of course, and fights a losing battle with Grahf.
But before Grahf can finish off Kahn, Fei snaps and his Id manifest's itself. The blast of energy kills Grahf and Karen, but only severely injures Kahn. Grahf chooses Kahn as his next host...
I'm guessing that Grahf then "teaches" Fei/Id.
Grahf will be involved in the Battle of Elru, where Id will manifest itself. Elru will be completely destroyed and Id will be known as "The Demon of Elru". After this, Kahn's will overtakes Grahf for a time,
becoming "Wiseman". He will take the battered Fei to Lahan village, where Fei suffers amnesia. During some points of the game, this will happen again, and Wiseman will appear before Fei. So, here we have it. Grahf is Lacan. Lacan is a former life of Fei. Grahf transmigrates into Kahn, so Kahn is Grahf. Sheesh! Confusing no?
