Fei starts as a happy teenager in his village, about to celebrate his two bests friends, Alice and Timothy's, wedding. In this stage of the game, Fei seems like a typical young man, living a happy life. This is all suddenly changed when Lahan is suddenly caught in the battle between a batallion of Aveh and a batallion of Kislev gears. Many villagers are caught up in between, while Fei and Citan attempt to evacuate everyone to a safe distance. Fei spots an abandoned gear, it's pilot dead on the ground nearby. A vision of an evil looking young boy sitting inside the cockpit alarms Fei, it almost beckons him to get in the gear. Much to the dismay of Citan, Fei jumps inside the cockpit and begin's to battle the enemy gears. Soon, Fei is surrounded, and is forced to watch Timothy be shot to death. This is what's triggers first outburst, loosing control his face soon contorts to a wicked grin, and a violent burst of pure ether energy is released from the gear, Weltall. The blast decemates the town and incinerates anyone left in it, including Alice. This is how Fei's downward spiral begins. After the events of Lahan, he want's nothing more than to be put out of his misery. This is when he meets Elly, and she only seems to make things worse by accusations. Meeting Bart, his depression doesn't improve much, that is, until after Bart has a heart-to-heart talk with Fei, and Fei decides to help his cause. After being thrown into Kislev and when the capital is attacked by Aveh gears, Fei becomes determined to stop the battle, and prevent Aveh from using a nuclear weapon on the city. With the help of Elly, who joins sides with Fei and the crew, they manage to prevent the bomb from landing in a heavily populated sector, and on top of the reactor. Near the endgame, Fei will peice together his past within his conciousness, and re-gain control of himself. This is really the first "good" thing to happen to Fei (besides falling in love with Elly and meeting his friends) the whole game. Fei finally understands himself, his purpose, and has closure. It is at this time that the EXISTENCE speaks to him, asking him to free it from it's cage of fleshly existence. Inside Deus, Fei becomes and optimist and believes that there is still some good in the human race. After fighting the Urobulous, Elly is free and they escape. Krelian will call Fei a "peacemaker", and bid them farewell. Fei's whole personality is turned around by the end of the game, and he now has his one true love, Elhaym with him. « Back
